Lewis and Clark Public Health reported two new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Thursday.
The cases are the first two reported in the county in the past eight weeks.
The first patient is a 50-year-old man. The second case occurred in a 54-year-old man.
Public health staff reported that the second case involves contact with a known positive case from Idaho.
LCPH is currently doing contact tracing and investigating the two cases.
The new cases raise the total number of cases in Lewis and Clark County to 18.
Statewide there are have been a total of 540 COVID-19 cases, 57 cases are considered active.
According to the state, there is just one person currently hospitalized by the virus.
