BOZEMAN, Mont. – The 13-acre dog park on the corner of Gallatin Regional Park has a dog agility course, jumping dock, and trails but more is coming.
New trees, leveled ground, and removal of logs are projects underway now by Greenspace Landscaping. The sprucing up will allow space for a mowed fetch field and additional trails that will link shaded shelters recently built. All of these upgrades and past additions have been paid for by Run Dog Run, a local non-profit funding the park.

“I mean, yes we love our dogs in Chicago but nobody’s done this so you win,” said Jill Glockner who is visiting Bozeman while she drops off her daughter at MSU for her Freshman year of college. Glockner says she’s never seen such a beautiful dog park and plans to bring her dog back every time she visits her daughter.
Local resident, Paula Radell, says she returns weekly with her dog Gracie because of the good dog and people camaraderie.
“We like to come here because she can make friends,” said Radell. “They learn to play well with others. We should bring a few more people here don’t you think?”
The Dog Park is named Anderson dog park after Marsha Anderson, who has donated more than $165,000. Gallatin County plans to add restrooms and a parking lot by the end of fall according to Run Dog Run.
