Today's Forecast:
Morning snow showers in southwest Montana could keep roads slushy for the afternoon with accumulations less than an inch in the region. Daytime highs will top off near the 40 degree mark with our skies slowly clearing. Another surge of moisture will work into the region during the evening with light accumulation expected in Gallatin and Madison counties.
BOZEMAN: High: 41; Low: 26. Spotty morning snow showers are expected with light accumulation for the region. Skies will clear slightly for the afternoon with light snow expected for the evening.
BUTTE: High: 39; Low: 15. Slushy and wet roads to start the morning with scattered snow before noon. Skies will clear for the afternoon with a few isolated flurries possible for the mid-evening.
DILLON: High: 44 Low: 26. Isolated flakes with mild temperatures for the afternoon.
WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 37; Low: 16. Scattered snow showers for the area through the afternoon with another surge of snow during the evening.
ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW THIS WEEKEND:
Models are showing another round of snow moving into the region late this week. The current track brings the storm into the area overnight Friday and lingering in the region through Sunday. Early estimates need to be taken with caution, though the models are in line overall to bring the area between 2”-6” through Sunday. Mountains in the region are expected to pick up heavy wet snow through the weekend. We will keep you updated with the latest information as new data comes into the STORMTracker weather center.
