For the first time in a decade, the makers of the Whatchamacallit candy bar have launched a new treat — and of course it has a wonderfully whimsical name!

Featuring a peanut butter crème layer and rice crisps covered in a chocolatey candy, the new Whozeewhatzit will hit shelves nationwide in February. The name was chosen from more than 43,000 choices after the company asked fans to submit their most creative naming ideas for the new treat.

“There were lots of great submissions, but none that captured the bar’s irresistible characteristics while still paying homage to the beloved Whatchamacallit brand quite like the name Whozeewhatzit,” Jenna Hamm, Whatchamacallit brand manager said in a press release.

If you’ve never had a Whatchamacallit, that candy bar features chocolate, caramel and peanut-flavored crisps. The original version of the candy bar, introduced in 1978, only had peanut butter crisps coated in a thin layer of chocolate. The recipe was later updated in 1987.

The name for the bar was chosen from 100 choices by Hershey and ad agency staff.

While the new Whozeewhatzit bar isn’t really a Valentine’s Day candy (though I’m sure your Valentine wouldn’t mind getting one!), most other new candy you’ll find right now is specifically geared toward the February holiday.

Hershey’s new treats for Valentine’s Day include a rose-shaped Reese’s, a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bear, Hershey’s Hugs & Kisses Heart Box and Reese’s Big Box O’ Love, which is filled with a whopping 20 Reese’s cups. You’ll also find new Hershey’s Kisses Meltaway Roses, which are wrapped in a red rose print foil and include a velvety cream inside each Kiss.

If you can’t decide on which candy to grab this season, you can even get an entire pre-packaged crate of candy and other goodies from the American Licorice Company for $15.99. The crate is full of Sour Punch hearts, Red Vines, Jelly Belly Cupid Corn, Sweethearts and Dum-Dums and also includes lip balm, recipes and even an adult coloring activity.
