A few strong t-storms for Thursday in SW Montana

Today's Forecast: Scattered thunderstorms with an isolated strong thunderstorm will be possible for your Thursday afternoon. Highs will stay in the upper 70s and low 80s which will fuel the chance of a few of those strong storms for the afternoon and evening. The biggest threat is for gusty wind and small or moderate hail in southwest Montana for the mid and late afternoon.

BOZEMAN: High: 83; Low: 52. Morning rain will give way to afternoon thunderstorms that bring the chance for gusty winds and brief heavy downpours.

BUTTE: High: 81; Low: 48. Pockets of thunderstorms are expected this afternoon with the chance for damaging winds over 50 mph and small or moderate hail through the early evening.

DILLON: High: 81; Low: 50. Brief heavy downpours are expected to develop after the noon hour today with winds from those storms likely to bring gusts above 50 mph and the possibility of small hail to the region.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 79; Low: 42. Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. There is a slight chance for severe storms bringing gusty or damaging wind to the region.
