Winds will be picking up this afternoon out ahead of a front which will drop temperatures well into 40s for the weekend.

City by City Forecast:

BOZEMAN:  HIGH FRIDAY: 51°. LOW: 32°: Hit and miss showers will be possible throughout the day with the potential for snow in the higher elevations. Winds will pick up considerably in the afternoon with rain chances persisting. Chance of Precipitation: 60%

BUTTE:  HIGH FRIDAY: 50°. LOW: 31°: A cold front will through the area which will be increasing those wind speeds and rain chances this afternoon. Don’t let the wind catch you off guard, winds will be strong enough to cause hazardous. Chance of Precipitation: 60%

DILLON: HIGH FRIDAY: 54°. LOW: 30°: Cool temperatures are expected with highs struggling to get out of the 50s. Most of the rain and snow should stay in the mountains as the front passes through the area. Chance of Precipitation: 30%

WEST YELLOWSTONE: HIGH FRIDAY: 40°. LOW: 24°: Temperatures will struggle today in West Yellowstone under abundant cloud cover. On & off rain/snow is possible with a cold front passing through this afternoon. Very strong winds are possible with this frontal passage. Chance of Precipitation: 60%
