Vera Betty Cutting went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2018, surrounded by her family. Vera was born in Bozeman, Montana to Homer W. and Lillie A. Thompson on October 9, 1938. She attended Gallatin County High School and graduated in 1957.
She married Robert V. Leiva on September 7, 1957, and was blessed with three children.
She later remarried the love of her life, Charles Ron Cutting, on January 17, 1982.
Much of Vera’s life revolved around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was loved by many.
Vera loved to read, paint pictures, bake, and garden. She especially loved her roses.
She was proud of her family and leaves behind beautiful memories. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie (Dan) Jones; son, Robert Leiva; brother, Gary Thompson; and three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Scot Leiva; husband, Charles Ron Cutting; and brother, Walter Thompson.
A Memorial Service will be held at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. with a reception to follow at Grand Avenue Christian Church.
