Lauren Marie Larson, 65, passed away November 10, 2018, in Bozeman, Montana.

She was born June 24, 1953, in Hardin, Montana to Lars and Marie Larson.  She grew up in Cody, Wyoming where she graduated from Cody High School in 1971.  After high school, she attended and graduated from Billings Business College.  Lauren enjoyed using her administrative skills working for several companies over the years. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor in the late seventies.  The surgeries required to manage the tumor took their toll and she was unable to work.  She lived in Billings, Montana with her mother until a series of strokes left her disabled.  She moved to Bozeman where she resided at Gallatin Rest Home until her death.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Tish, and working in her beautiful rose gardens that she loved.  Lauren enjoyed listening to all types of music, especially Elvis and had a passion for watching the Los Angeles Dodgers play, like her brother, Terry, did.

Lauren is preceded in death by her parents, Lars and Marie, and older brother, Terry Larson.  She is survived by her brother, Barry (Debbie) Larson of Bozeman, and her sister, Jolene Ozbirn (Tom Clark) of Billings.  In addition to her family, Lauren is also survived by her loving twin friends, Lila (Jim) Anderson of Conrad, Montana, and Linda (Cliff) Spencer of Portland, Oregon.

Lauren was cremated, and a private service will be held at a later date.  Her ashes will be spread at a beach in California, a beach in Oregon, on her mother’s grave in Cody, on her father’s grave in Harlowton, Montana, and on her brother’s grave in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.  You were a wonderful sister and we couldn’t ask for anyone better.  Your earthly journey is now over.  Rest in peace our loving sweetheart, you will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.  Our thanks and gratitude go out to Dr. Connie Hahn and the staff at Gallatin Rest Home.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.  www.dokkennelson.com
