Cascade County is standing by to help 46 people trapped by snow in the Dearborn area.

Cascade County Disaster and Emergency Services was notified of the situation Monday by the Dearborn Fire Chief.

The roads are private and not plowed by the County and there are vehicles stuck on the road, blocking anyone from getting in or out.

According to DES, all residents have been contacted.

The residents said they are doing all right, but some are reportedly running low on supplies.

With more snow expected, Cascade County officials are preparing for a rescue if it’s needed. Search and Rescue has been placed on standby.

The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross are also on standby and Harvest Springs Community Church in Great Falls will be used as a possible shelter.
