NINE PIPES – Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident that has closed a section of US Highway 93 North between St. Ignatius and Ronan.
The Montana Highway Patrol dispatch log list the accident as a fatality crash that happened at around 7:15 a.m. Monday north of the Nine Pipes lodge.
US Highway 93 North is closed at the intersection with Montana Highway 212.
The Montana Department of Transportation reports southbound traffic is being detoured onto Montana Highway 212.
Expect heavy traffic delays in the area.
