GREAT FALLS – Gary Allen Jimenez of Heart Butte was indicted on charges of sexual abuse of a minor and distribution of a controlled substance to a person under 21.

The indictment was announced Friday by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Court documents state that in November 2016 and April 2017, Jimenez “knowingly engaged in a sexual act” with a juvenile between the ages of 12 and 16.

Jimenez is now 24 years old, and was more than four years older than the girl at the time of the alleged incidents.

In addition, Jimenez is alleged to have “knowingly and intentionally distributed a mixture and substance” containing meth to the girl; the alleged dates for that charge are listed as November 2016 and July 27.

If convicted of the most serious crime, Jimenez faces a minimum mandatory one year to 40 years in prison, a $2 million fine and six years supervised release.
