A 72-year-old man died on Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash just south of Chief Plenty Coups State Park.
He was driving a 2005 Chevy Impala, and it is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt.
The accident was at the intersection of Pryor Gap Road and Edgar Road. The man failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and veered off the left side of the road.
The car went down the embankment and came to rest after hitting a tree.
The man was pronounced dead on scene.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is investigating this crash.
