Firefighters in Billings rescued a dog that was stranded in Lake Elmo on Thursday morning.
The puppy was on a walk when he noticed ducks on the lake.
The dog was partially submerged in ice about 30 feet from shore.
A firefighter fastened to a tow line crawled out to the dog and pulled it out.
