BOZEMAN — Many aspects of our lives look drastically different in this pandemic, including education.
Around the country, some children are back in school full-time, some only back in school part-time, and some not in school at all as they learn remotely from home.
But the Greater Gallatin United Way wants to give parents a practical and affordable option for students through micro-schools as we navigate through this pandemic.
“It feels like a pod. A lot of individuals tried to find other community members to team up with, whether it was neighbors, family members or friends to create their little learning cohort that could still be a small group where kids got to interact with each other and have a staff member or family member or rotating neighbor coming in, and we decided we can offer a similar program that’s a little more from a programmatic perspective,” explained Danica Jamison, the CEO and President of Greater Gallatin United Way.
There are currently spaces open at the micro-schools and anyone interested in enrolling their child is encouraged to contact the Greater Gallatin United Way.
