Several employees were taken to the hospital after a Wednesday evening explosion and fire in Columbia Falls.
Rick Sacca with the Flathead Office Emergency Management says the incident happened at around 8 p.m. at the Weyerhaeuser Medium Density Fiberboard Plant.
Initial reports indicate that nearly a dozen employees were taken to the hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation following the fire.
The Columbia Falls, Whitefish and Bad Rock fire departments responded to the scene along with Three Rivers EMS.
