BOZEMAN — For parents and students in the Bozeman School District, it is now a waiting game to see what the next step will be now that a severance agreement has been reached with Superintendent Bob Connors.

There will be a school board meeting Monday, Jan. 25, but there will not be any discussion about the superintendent role.

On Wednesday, board members voted to approve the severance agreement between the district and Connors.

MTN News caught up with the two current interim superintendents, Casey Bertram and Marilyn King, who have been fulfilling the role.

“We’ve agreed to be interim superintendents as long as necessary during this school year. The board of trustees, at their last meeting, approved a severance agreement with the superintendent and we’re waiting the outcome of that and then the Board of Trustees will decide their next steps," explained Bertram.

Both interim superintendents are also still fulfilling their initial roles as deputy superintendents as well.
