BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana Ballet Company is taking a local twist on a classic Hans Christian Anderson tale, the Little Mermaid. Artistic Director Elizabeth DeFanti has reinterpreted the story infusing messages of self-acceptance, self-truth, and empowerment. The wonderful local MBC cast welcomes professionals to play the role of Mermaid Marina and the Prince. Also, MBC is happy to have local Musical Director, Stefan Stern who composed the original orchestral score to lead their outstanding musicians and vocalists.
