BOZEMAN, Mont. – On Saturday and Sunday at Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter, pet owners had the chance to get a digital picture of their pet with Santa.
Each year HOV hosts the Santa Paws event to raise money for the shelter. Dogs and cats were welcome to participate in the event as long as they were on a leash or in a crate.
“Oh yeah, of course. I am definitely an animal lover, it’s why I work here,” said HOV employee Ben Donohue. “And of course, yeah, it is just really neat to see people who really love their animals coming and showing support for the shelter, their local shelter, and also just be able to show their love to their dogs.”
Donohue says all of the money from the fundraiser goes directly to help keep the shelter running.
