MDT seeks public comment on Jackrabbit Lane widening

BELGRADE, Mont. – The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is seeking public feedback on a proposal to widen a half-mile section of Jackrabbit Lane in Belgrade.

The project would begin at Madison Avenue and extend north, ending at Main Street, according to MDT. The purpose of the project is to increase roadway capacity to address current and future traffic demand, in addition to upgrading traffic signals to current standards.

The proposed work is tentatively planned to begin in 2023.
