BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Emerson Center hosted the first Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market of the season on Saturday morning.

This is the tenth year the Farmer’s Market has been going, and each year the market says they have more products being sold due to the demand. Every other Saturday there are close to 30 vendors ranging from spices and baked goods to in-season vegetables.

For local farmers like Susan Brown, markets like this one keep her business going.

“We started out very reliant on markets at the very beginning when we made goat cheese, at the very beginning with pork and now with the vegetables. You need a place to start, and this is it,” said Brown, who is also an owner of Amaltheia Dairy.
