Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is seeking information on a poached cow elk found on a private ranch near Pishkun Reservoir.
The cow elk was found approximately eight miles west of Pishkun Reservoir along the Rocky Mountain Front.
The elk was left on the ranch land adjacent to the state land parking area sometime late in the day on November 16 after a snow storm subsided, according to game warden Rod Duty.
Duty said the poacher has violated two statutes by abandoning the cow elk and trespassing on the ranch.
FWP asks that anyone with information on the incident call 1-800-TIPMONT. Callers are kept confidential and a reward is possible.
