BROWNING- Family members are grieving after two women lost their lives in Browning on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the Glacier County Sheriff’s Office identified Lindsay Whiteman, 38, and Amy Sue Whitegrass, 28, as the victims of an incident that occurred in the Star School area west of Browning.

Whiteman’s family says she leaves behind six children.

They said, “Lindsay always had a beautiful smile and was always jolly. She will be missed by many.”

Whitegrass’s family declined to make a statement.

Two 17-year-old males are currently being held in Cascade County for charges connected to the women’s deaths.

The Glacier County Sheriff’s Office, Blackfeet Law Enforcement services, and the FBI are investigating.

Law enforcement officers have not provided any information regarding possible motives.
