GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Roland Alan Fallang was arrested on Wednesday in Great Falls in connection with the theft of several bicycles from Great Falls High School.
A police officer driving north on the 700 block of 15th Street North and saw the pickup truck that had been seen at GFHS when the thefts happened.
Court documents state that Fallang admitted he had been in the truck and participated in the thefts.
Fallang is facing a misdemeanor charge for the thefts, but has also been charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs (felony) and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor) after officers reportedly found him in possession of meth and a glass pipe commonly used to smoke meth.
One other person was arrested and is facing a misdemeanor charge in connection with the thefts. That person’s name has not yet been released; we are trying to get the name from Municipal Court.
According to the Montana Department of Corrections, Fallang has a felony conviction in Teton County on a charge of tampering with a witness and is currently on probation.

(SEPTEMBER 5, 2018) The Great Falls Police Department is asking for help identifying who is responsible for stealing at least three bikes from Great Falls High School.
According to the GFPD, a call came in around 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday to report the stolen bikes.
The bikes were locked on a bike rack, and police said thieves cut through the lock with bolt cutters.
GFPD said they’re looking for a late 70’s to early 80’s Ford pickup extended cab, gray and black in color.
The GFPD has not released any other information about the thefts.
