Ravalli County Public Health is reporting a fifth COVID-19 related death.
A news release states, "Public Health regrets to inform the community that another Ravalli county citizen has died due to complications from COVID-19."
An additional 30 confirmed coronavirus cases were also being reported on Friday afternoon.
There were 280 active cases of COVID-19 along with nine active hospitalizations.
All of the new cases are currently being investigated by Public Health nurses.
Public Health nurses continue to release active cases from isolation once they recover from symptoms.
