Montana confirms 53 COVID-19 cases in the state as of Wednesday morning

As of Wednesday morning, the State of Montana has confirmed 53 positive COVID-19 cases in the state. The prior total reported Tuesday afternoon was 51.

According to the Montana Response COVID-19 case map, there is one new case in Silver Bow County, bringing its total to 4. According to data on the map, the new case is in a woman in her 60s.

Madison County shows one new case, which brings its total to 2 total cases. The new case is in a man in his 70s.

Other Montana counties with confirmed cases are as follows:

  • Gallatin: 19
  • Yellowstone: 8
  • Missoula: 6
  • Flathead: 4
  • Cascade: 3
  • Lewis & Clark: 3
  • Jefferson: 1
  • Ravalli: 1
  • Broadwater: 1
  • Roosevelt: 1

There have not been any deaths in Montana attributed to COVID-19 at this point.

As of Wednesday morning, the DPHHS public health lab in Helena has completed 2,001 tests for COVID-19; that includes 312 tests conducted since Tuesday morning.
