An additional COVID-19 related death has been confirmed in Missoula County.
The Missoula City-County Health Department reported a 17th death related to COVID 19 complications late Friday morning.
"The health department and local government leadership send our deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones impacted by this loss at this difficult time," MCCHD stated in a news release.
The latest death is being reported in a male, 70 years or older.
Two COVID-19 related deaths were also reported in Missoula County on Thursday.
An additional 90 COVID-19 cases as well as 641 active cases reported by MCCHD on Friday morning.
