Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is now offering one hour of free parking in its pay parking lot.
This is up from 30 minutes originally offered by the airport. Officials are expecting another record-breaking summer at BZN and hope to decrease traffic in the loading and unloading zone of the terminal.
Airport Deputy Director Scott Humphrey hopes that the new free parking regulation will allow more people to park before going into the terminal and assisting their passengers and guests.
”By the time the passenger deplanes, picks his bags up at the carousel 30 minutes is tight,” said Humphrey. “So we decided to offer 60 minutes free so that you have the convenience and peace of mind knowing that you have enough time to park your car, come into the terminal and reach your passengers and guests.”
BZN is the only airport in Montana to offer one hour of free parking.
