POLSON — State transportation officials are issuing a warning for drivers along the east side of Flathead Lake.

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) reports that rocks have been falling "consistently" along a stretch of Montana Highway 35.

MDT crews are monitoring the road between Polson and Yellow Bay — between mile markers 9.5 and 13 — "to remove rocks" from the road.
