Paulding County, GA (WGCL) — A Paulding County man will spend the next several years behind bars after he was convicted of committing sex crimes against children in North Dakota.

Timothy James Sprenger, 32, was arrested on November 7 in Ward County, North Dakota.

Authorities became aware of the situation after a diary was presented to them that detailed several sexual assaults allegedly committed by Sprenger.

After investigators examined the diary, they determined Sprenger had molested several children between the ages of six months to two years-old while in North Dakota.

They were able to identify one of the victims and they eventually caught up with the victim’s mother. After a lengthy interview, Sprenger gave a full confession to investigators.
