Honolulu, HI (KITV) — The federal judge dismissed all charges against Isaiah McCoy — including seven counts of sex trafficking, forcing, threatening and coercing young women into prostitution.
He and his wife Tawana Lashaun were originally arrested at the beginning of this year. Lashaun, an Army sergeant, was released just last month — on a $50,000 bond.
The ex-death row convict tried to claim insanity during this trial, but withdrew.
KITV4 reached out to the prosecutors to find out why the charges were dismissed, but have yet to hear back.
