Delray Beach, FL (WPTV) — Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum was in Delray Beach Saturday morning to celebrate the opening of one of his campaign offices.

Organizers had to move the event outdoors as crowds packed the event.

#MeToo advocate and actress Alyssa Milano attended the Gillum event and shared her experience attending Thursday’s Brett Kavanaugh hearing on sex harassment allegations.

“It’s very easy for women at this time to feel invisible, to feel like their voice does not matter, to feel like their struggle is not important. So, I want to look to all those women and say, ‘I hear you. I see you. I am you. You are valuable. You are important,’” said Milano.

She spent Saturday helping Gillum campaign and worked to help bring people to the polls for November’s election.

The actress also attended a grassroots event in Hollywood on the state of women’s healthcare in Florida.
