Construction on $28M airport parking project gearing up

Posted: Updated:

Construction on the $28.6 million airport parking deck is about to hit the ground running at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

Sletten Construction started dropping off their heavy equipment on Friday to start working on the 1,100 stall, fully-covered, multi-use parking garage.

According to the airport director, they are going to have to remove one of the buildings that are close to the airport’s southeast entrance to another location before the groundbreaking can be done.

“Our contractor for the new parking deck actually has started work and we expect that to be a major project over the next 18 months,” said Brian Sprenger, Airport Director of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

Construction is projected to be completed on June 1, 2019.
