BOZEMAN - The Gallagator Trail has been closed for about two and a half weeks for maintenance repairs.
The trail recently re-opened, and you will notice the biggest changes on the bridges. The main reason for the repairs was to make those bridges safer.
"So, we changed the orientation of the slats on the bridge to make them horizontal and are making sure the approaches to the bridge are nice and smooth and it's just a safer bridge all around for everyone to use," said EJ Porth, Director of Communications and Outreach for GVLT.
A ribbon cutting for the trail will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at the trails northern bridge closest to Peet's Hill.
