Montana Veterans Memorial in Great Falls welcomes more tiles

Posted: Updated:

The Montana Veterans Memorial added more than 100 new tiles inscribed with veterans' names on Saturday morning.

Tiles are added two times a year, before Memorial Day and before Veterans Day.

Thirty-three of the new tiles represent Blackfeet Warriors.

On Veterans Day, members from various eras of the country's military history will be commemorated.

This year's guest speaker will be Anthony Aretz, the president of the University of Providence.

The event will take place on November 11 at 11 a.m. For a schedule of the events, click here.

Tile searches can also be conducted online through the Montana Veterans Memorial website.
