Runners enjoy good weather for Montana Marathon

The 21st annual Montana Marathon drew 128 runners from around the country and Canada on Sunday.

The annual race starts in Molt, crosses the Stillwater-Yellowstone county line, and finishes near Dayliss Stadium in Billings.

Jehremy Felig of Billings finished first among the men in 2:57:54.

Joel Marlette from Sacramento was second in 3:00:09 and Ryan Morgan from Missoula was third in 3:00:11.

The first women’s finisher was Lauren Zent  of Billings in 3:34:40.

Brittney Ueker of Missoula was second in 3:37:30 and Amanda Steichen of Helena was third in 3:38:51.

The Montana Marathon also includes a 13.1 mile half marathon, a 10-K, a one-mile children’s run, a marathon relay and a hand-cycle marathon.

More than 300 competed in the half marathon and more than 200 in the 10-K.
