GREAT FALLS -

The Great Falls Police Department is requesting help in identifying a man who they say broke into the Great Falls Community Food Bank and Meals On Wheels building early Thursday morning.

According to the Food Bank and Meals On Wheels, the man took a laptop computer, a small amount of goods, and a credit card used for gas.

They also say that one of the cars had "significant" damage.

The person also propped open the freezer doors, but nothing inside was lost, as staff discovered the break-in in time.

Although the Food Bank is open today, Meals ON Wheels had to cancel service for 350 elderly people; they will begin deliveries again tomorrow.

The Food Bank and Meals On Wheels building is located at 1620 12th Avenue North.

Tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers 727-TIPS (727-8477) or to GFPD Sergeant Jason Mitchell at 406-455-8493 or jmitchell@greatfallsmt.net.

If you would like to help Meals On Wheels, you can call them at 406-454-6993.
