Miss North Dakota Cara Mund crowned Miss America

Miss North Dakota 2017 Cara Mund has been crowned Miss America.

Mund is the first North Dakotan ever to win the Miss America crown.

She was asked during her interview question what is on her bucket list. She said it was to make it past the Top 10 on Miss America because only 3 other Miss North Dakota women have made it to the top 10.

Mund is from Bismarck and graduated from Brown University. Her talent is Jazz Dance and her platform is the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

    KALISPELL - The search continues for a missing skier in the Flathead valley. Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry has identified the skier as Dr. Jonathan Scott Torgerson, 62, from Columbia Falls.
