Tracking Thunderstorms This Afternoon

Wildfire smoke is filling most valleys across SW Montana with a westerly flow. Air quality will likely worsen throughout the rest of this afternoon and early evening.

Thunderstorms are also firing up in southern Beaverhead, Madison and Gallatin Counties producing frequent lightning, gusty winds and brief heavy rain.
