KBZK STORMTracker Weather Mobile App

Posted: Updated:

New features are now available to the KBZK STORMTracker Weather Mobile App!

KBZK invested in new technology in our weather app a few months ago and we continue to make improvements to this app today and in the future.

Your STORMTracker team of Meteorologist's are constantly updating content to the app in the form of short video forecasts several times a day. If you live in Ennis you will find an updated on demand video forecast everyday, same for Dillon, West Yellowstone, Belgrade, Big Sky along with Bozeman and Butte.

This powerful app has incredible features like live Doppler radar. On the radar page there are numerous layers you can turn on or off to customize to your satisfaction. For example, under the layers tab you will find a lightning option. Track lightning strikes and see how close lightning is to your location to keep you safe during thunderstorms.

There is an earthquake overlay so you can track all the earthquakes across Montana and the entire United States if you like. Other overlays include road weather, water temperature, snow cover, wind speed etc. Be sure to turn on alerts to see quickly see what counties in SW Montana are under an advisory, watch or warning.

Other great features are hourly forecasts, 10 day forecasts, on demand video's, options to watch the KBZK newscasts through the app and an easy tool to take and submit your weather photo's.

Our goal is to keep you in the weather loop whenever you open the KBZK STORMTracker weather app with a short video forecast right at the top of the app along with all the great features listed above.

So please be a part of our KBZK STORMTracker weather family and put your trust in Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard, Morning Meteorologist Matt Elwell and Weekend Meteorologist Kenneth Webb to keep you safe and informed on your local weather 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. Our weather department is in Bozeman, no other station can make that claim. We forecast the weather just for SW Montana.
