Former Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein has pleaded guilty to a criminal charge related to the DAPL protests.
Stein pleaded guilty to criminal mischief.
A criminal trespass charge filed against her was dismissed Wednesday in Morton County.
Stein, who was running for President under the Green Party, was at the DAPL site in September of 2016.
Stein spray painted on a bulldozer: "I approve this message."
In court documents Stein said the state had enough to convict her of the crime.
As a part of a plea deal, her sentence was deferred for 6 months.
If she violates the terms of the deal she would face up to 30 days in jail and or a $1,500 fine.
