Posted: Updated:

A group of Vietnam Army veterans made there way to Great Falls this week for there bi annual reunion.

The 101st Airborne Division have been hosting reunions for the group and there families since 1993.

Leo Flory has been coming to these reunions since 2003.

"Dave Reinheimer gave me a call the year before and reminded me of the situation that we were in in Veintam where I had to stop his bleeding. I remembered him and he invited me to the 2003 reunion, which my wife and I attended," Flory said.

They visit the towns that a veteran currently lives in and this year is the first time the group has made there way to Great Falls.

This is one way for the group to share old stories as well as make new memories together.

"We share a common sense of the past and it just means a great deal. It is externally healing to be together, even though we have done it a great number of times now. The affect is still the same. We are also thankful that our wives are able to be together with us because it turns out they are all veterans also," Flory said.

They were able to visit the Montana Veterans Memorial, attend a Voyages game and make there way to the the Gates of the Mountains.

Most of the man at the reunion served from 1967 to 1972.
