Sunday Afternoon Forecast - Aurora Forecast & Strong Storms

Posted: Updated:

This afternoon, we can expect some strong thunderstorms and some could be severe with gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning.  After the showers and thunderstorms pass this evening, we will have mostly clear skies to watch the Aurora Borealis tonight.  The best time for the Aurora show is between 1 am - 6 am.  If you decide to take a picture or video of the Northern Lights, please feel free to send them to our social media accounts on Facebook at @kxlfstormtracker or @kbzkstormtracker.

I will have more on the storms and your 7-day forecast tonight at 5:30 and at 10 on KXLF and KBZK.
