GFPD asks for help finding parents of 2 toddlers

GREAT FALLS -

(UPDATE, 12:08 p.m.) The GFPD says that the girls have been identified and the parents located, thanks to tips from the community.

The GFPD said: "SPO Daniels sends along his most sincere thanks for the community's help. We appreciate knowing we can always count on your support."

We do not yet know the circumstance of the incident.

We will post an update if more information becomes available.


(1st Report, 11:29 a.m.) The Great Falls Police Department is asking for help locating the parents or caregiver for two toddler.

The GFPD said in a Facebook post that the children were found near 5th Avenue South and 19th Street at about 9:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Police say they believe they are about 18 months old, and appear to be twins.

Anyone with information about their identity or parents/caretaker is asked to call 911, or get in touch with the GFPD on their Facebook page.
