GREAT FALLS -

Autree Aniel Pederson, 20 years old, and a 16-year old boy have been charged in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Great Falls.

Court documents allege Pederson raped the girl while the other male held the girl down; Pederson then held the girl down while the other male raped her.

The court documents do not name the 16-year old male; his case is being handled in juvenile court at this point, and we are working to confirm his identity.

Pederson reportedly invited the victim to a party, where they both drank alcohol with a 16-year-old boy who is not named in court documents.

The incident happened at a residence on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue South.

The victim told her parents she was going to a friend's house, but instead went to the party with Pederson.

The victim told police that when she was at the party, she had five or six drinks and became intoxicated; she lost her phone and went into one of the bedrooms to find it.

Pederson and the other suspect allegedly followed her into the bedroom and knocked her onto the bed.

Court documents state that the male teen held her down while Pederson pulled her pants off and raped her. Pederson then held her down while the male teen raped her.

The victim told both assailants "no" numerous times and tried to fight them off, but was not successful.

When questioned by police, both suspects initially denied having sex with the victim.

Pederson told detectives that he believed the male teen and another juvenile had engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim.

The male teen eventually admitted having sex with the victim, but told detectives that it had been consensual. He then changed his story and said that he had been engaging in consensual sex with the victim when Pederson came into the room, pushed him away from her, and started having sex with her.

When presented with that account of what happened, Pederson again said that he didn't have sex with the victim, but did say that he had kissed her.

The victim was examined at Benefis Health System, where medical findings were "consistent with a sexual assault."

Court documents state that Pederson is currently awaiting sentencing on an unrelated charge of assault with a weapon.

Prosecutors requested that bail for Pederson be set at $100,000.
