The two people who died in a crash on Interstate 90 east of Clinton on Tuesday have been identified.
Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson says 22-year-old Debora Alteneder of Missoula and 23-year-old Joshua Creel of Liberty, Indiana, died in the crash.
Dunkerson says they died of blunt force trauma after their vehicle hydroplaned on the wet road, causing their car to cross into the opposite lane of I-90 and crash into an oncoming semi-truck.
The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.

The Montana Highway Patrol was called out to I-90 West near mile marker 138 in the Bearmouth area at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, at least one person has died.
The Montana Department of Transportation reports it is a multi-vehicle crash that has one lane of the freeway blocked in each direction.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible for a while, or expect delays as emergency crews work to clear the scene.
