BOZEMAN -

The school has raised over 35 thousand dollars to support local cancer research in the past 10 years.  Students today decided to wear all pink in support of cancer foundation. Some lucky students even volunteered to cut their own hair and donate it to "Locks of Love".  Other students decided to go totally bald in effort to raise money.

Jason Smith, Executive VP of Bozeman Health Foundation, said, "We are just so proud of the kids at chief Joseph Middle school. cancer is a heavy subject and it's touched so many of their lives and so many of our lives. the fact that they come together each year to raise money to help cancer, those fighting cancer in our community is amazing.  Over 35 thousand dollars to help benefit cancer patients in our community and we're just incredibly grateful for who they are and what they do and all the energy they bring to this cause."

Most of the student body was cheering on their classmates for this cause.
