UPDATE: Bozeman Pre-release walkaway located

UPDATE: 5/9/17, 10 a.m. - Officials say Matthew Allen has been detained and is in the custody of law enforcement officials in Lewis and Clark County.


Law enforcement officials are looking for a man who reportedly walked away from the Gallatin County Re-entry Program, Matthew Allen.

Allen failed to return to the center as scheduled on May 8, 2017, at 5:30 pm.

Allen was last seen wearing a black collared shirt, black pants, and black shoes. He is 5’10 and weighs 178 lbs. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

Allen was convicted of felony burglary in Lewis and Clark County.
