Researchers from the University of Wyoming, Colorado and Illinois partnered with Idaho Power to increase winter precipitation.
They conducted the cloud seeding experiment called SNOWIE in the Mountains of Idaho for the months of January through March to produce higher snowfall concentrations.
It will take two or three years to analyze the data from this study to find out if there were any results.
Cloud seeding can best be summed up from this American Meteorological Society website
