BOZEMAN -

Monday afternoon a rally was held by Montana Women Vote in Bozeman to protect access to health care.

There is a possibility that the Trump Administration will try to reform the affordable care act again in may. Those in attendance Monday wanted to spread the message that Montanans rely on affordable health care. Many in attendance also wanted to send a message to both Senator Steve Daines and Senator Jon Tester by standing together.

“I feel very strongly about the needs that we have in our society for healthcare being supported by all of us,” said Nicole Rosenleaf Ritter.

MTN  reached out to Senator Steve Daines and a spokesperson for him said  "The bottom line is Montanans are facing premium increases on average between 27 and 58 percent for 2017 alone. Obamacare is in a death spiral. Steve knows health care needs to be more affordable for Montanans."

Senator Jon Tester released to this statement “I have been standing up to politicians in Washington who are trying to rip away health care from thousands of Montanans. By working together and building on the health care progress we have made, I am confident that we can expand access to affordable health care."
