Obituary: Betty Grace Weber Fergusson Bradley

Betty Grace Weber Fergusson Bradley, 82, died December 10, 2016, after a long battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.  Betty was born in Billings, Montana, on September 18, 1934, to parents Samuel and Alberta (Campen) Weber.  She attended Billings elementary schools and high school.  She graduated Eastern Montana College and Montana State University with a Bachelor and Master’s degrees in education.

Betty married Donald L. Fergusson shortly after graduating high school and together they had two sons, Marcus and Scott, and a daughter, Dawn.  They were later divorced.  Betty married Raymond S. Bradley in 1962.  They had a daughter, Julia.  They were married for 54 years.

Betty taught elementary school in Billings for a number of years until she moved to Bozeman with her family.  She worked as a substitute teacher in Bozeman and then for the County Superintendent of Schools for several years.  She worked at Bradley and Marchwick until she retired.   In retirement, she volunteered at the County election department and Guardian Ad Litem.

Betty enjoyed playing bridge for many years.  She enjoyed the company of many friends she made in this endeavor.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott; and daughter, Julia.  She is survived by her husband, Raymond; son, Marcus Fergusson; daughter, Dawn Chretien; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, John Weber; and sister, Susan Weber Mize.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 4383 Durston Rd., Bozeman, MT.  A private interment of her urn will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society, or the charity of your choice.
